Are all your bags handmade?
Yes. Every piece is carefully handmade in small batches by myself at my studio in Sydney, Australia. Because of the handmade process, slight variations may occur. These small differences are part of the charm and uniqueness of each item.
Is the fabric authentic Japanese kimono?
Yes. I bring Japanese Kimono and Obi from Japan by myself. I then carefully unpick the kimono and check the fabric carefully before making bags. Minor imperfections may be present due to their age.
Will I receive the exact bag shown in the photos?
Yes, unless otherwise stated. Most pieces are one of a kind, so the item shown in the photos is the exact one you will receive.
Are the bags durable enough for daily use?
Yes. Each bag is reinforced with interfacing to help maintain its shape and structure. However, since many pieces are made from vintage silk fabrics, gentle handling is recommended.
How should I care for my bag?
Spot clean gently with a soft cloth if needed. Do not machine wash.
Avoid soaking. Store away from direct sunlight to preserve the fabric’s color and quality.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes, I welcome custom orders. Please send your request with details or reference photos, and I will be happy to provide a quote.

I focus on repurposing vintage Japanese kimono fabrics, giving new life to traditional textiles and helping reduce waste. Each piece is made thoughtfully and in small quantities.
